Majestic Theatre

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson's career spans over four decades of hits. He has received numerous awards, including the GRAMMY Living Legend Award, NARAS Lifetime Achievement Award, Honorary Doctorate (Howard University), Kennedy Center Honors, and the National Medal of Arts Award from the President of the United States. He has also been inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters' Hall of Fame.
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Robinson founded The Miracles while still in high school. The group was Berry Gordy's first vocal group, and it was at Robinson's suggestion that Gordy started the Motown Record dynasty. Their single of Robinson's "Shop Around" became Motown's first #1 hit on the R&amp;B singles chart. In the years following, Robinson continued to pen hits for the group, including "You've Really Got a Hold on Me," "Ooo Baby Baby," "The Tracks of My Tears," "Going to a Go-Go," "More Love," "Tears of a Clown" (co-written with Stevie Wonder), and "I Second That Emotion."
The Miracles dominated the R&amp;B scene throughout the 1960s and early 70s, and Robinson became Vice President of Motown Records, serving as in-house producer, talent scout, and songwriter.
In addition to writing hits for the Miracles, Robinson wrote and produced hits for other Motown greats, including The Temptations, Mary Wells, Brenda Holloway, Marvin Gaye, and others."The Way You Do the Things You Do," "My Girl," "Get Ready," "You Beat Me to the Punch, "Don't Mess with Bill," "Ain't That Peculiar," and "My Guy" are just a few of his songwriting triumphs during those years. He later turned to a solo career where he continued his tradition of chart-topping hits with "Just to See Her," "Quiet Storm," "Cruisin'," and "Being with You, "among others.
He remained Vice President of Motown records until the sale of the company, shaping the label's success with friend and mentor Berry Gordy. Following his tenure at Motown, he continued his impressive touring career and released several successful solo albums. Recently, Robinson was singer/co-writer on the certified gold track "Make It Better" from Anderson Paak's album Ventura and in 2023 released his newest album of original music entitled Gasms via TLR Music Group/ ADA. In 2024 Smokey curated his own channel on SiriusXM called “Smokey’s Soul Town” featuring soul music from the 60’s and 70’s as well as interviews, live performances, and call ins.
This year of 2025 will mark the 50th ANNIVERSARY of his 1975 breakthrough album, A Quiet Storm. His tour “Smokey Legacy Tour” will highlight this 50th anniversary as well as celebrate all of his top hits throughout the decades.
Throughout his 60+ year music career, Robinson has accumulated more than 4,000 songs to his credit and continues to thrill sold-out audiences worldwide with his high tenor voice, impeccable timing, and profound sense of lyric and style.

Nicolas Reyes has been the leader and co-founder of the Gipsy Kings for well over 30 years. In the past three decades, they have dominated the World Music charts and sold more than 14 million albums worldwide. Their platinum compilation, The Best of the Gipsy Kings, was charting for over a year upon its release and their ninth studio album, Savor Flamenco, was awarded the Grammy for Best World Music Album in 2013. &nbsp;
This iconic legacy began when Nicolas’ father, Jose Reyes, formed a celebrated flamenco duo with Manitas de Plata (which boasted fans as famed as Miles Davis and Pablo Picasso). When the pair parted ways, the elder Reyes became even more popular upon starting his own band, backed by his son, called Los Reyes. In later years, Nicolas headed out on his own and began playing in the town of Arles in the south of France. He traveled throughout the country, busking on the streets of Saint-Tropez, playing wherever he could. Having adopted the perpetual motion of the gypsy lifestyle, his band eventually translated “Los Reyes” and became the Gipsy Kings.&nbsp;
The band’s music went on to fuse with popular culture. In addition to the accolades above, the traveling Gipsy Kings have played some of the world’s greatest stages, from the Hollywood Bowl to Royal Albert Hall as well as hitting the big screen. Their rendition of “Hotel California” was included in the film The Big Lebowski and the HBO series Entourage. The 2010 film Toy Story 3 featured a Gipsy Kings version of the movie’s popular, Randy Newman-penned theme, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”. The Gipsy Kings recently featured in a Big Lebowski spinoff The Jesus Rolls with Reyes appearing in person with the director and star, John Turturro, for some of the promotion. &nbsp;
As active as this remarkable collective remains, they are also confident in the future of their legacy. “Even though it’s been 30 years, we want to keep on making new music because it’s our life. It’s who we are,” says Nicolas Reyes. “But I think there will be a time when we pass down the Gipsy Kings to our sons”. &nbsp;
30 years is an eternity in pop music but the story of the Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes has the depth to endure. Theirs is a music that extends through generations, to the sounds of their ancestors—Spanish Romani people who fled the Catalonia region during the Spanish Civil War—and reflects the vibrantly eclectic and peripatetic history of the gitanos. &nbsp;

The queen of regional Mexican music, Yuridia, today announces new&nbsp;dates on her current tour “SIN LLORAR US TOUR” through the United&nbsp;States.
 Produced by Seitrack US and Latino Live, these 9 new dates will&nbsp;kick off on February 9 at the Gas South Arena in Atlanta, GA, and&nbsp;touring cities such as New York, Nashville, Laredo, Hidalgo,&nbsp;Houston, New Orleans, and San Antonio, before concluding on&nbsp;March 25 in Fresno, CA.
The tour supports Yuridia's album, Pa' Ahora Es Tarde Vol. 2, from which songs such as “Sin Llorar” and her most recent single “Felicítalo” with Los Ángeles Azules emerge.
“SIN LLORAR US TOUR” comes after the resounding success of&nbsp;Yuridia's previous tour, Pa Ahora Es Tarde, which made history in the&nbsp;United States with 17 SOLD OUT shows in the country. The tour also&nbsp;sold out 6 shows at the iconic National Auditorium in Mexico City and&nbsp;will add 2 shows at the Palacio de los Deportes in June of this year.&nbsp;
With the first volume of Pa’ Luego Es Tarde, the Sonoran singer broke her own records, achieving multiple Gold and Platinum certifications. The album lasted for more than 15 consecutive weeks on Billboard's Regional Mexican Albums chart, leading Yuridia to be the most listened to Regional Mexican female artist in the world. Pa’ Luego Es Tarde debuted at #7 on the aforementioned list and within the Top 10 globally on Spotify, along with artists such as Taylor Swift, Arctic Monkeys and Meghan Trainor.
The album includes the mega hit “Qué Agonía” with Ángela Aguilar, which has already reached more than 780 million views on YouTube and the Diamond + Double Platinum + Gold certification. For months, In addition, the song was positioned within the Top 200 on Spotify globally and its music video within the Top 10 globally on YouTube.

The band Cream were one of the first rock supergroups to emerge from the British rhythm and blues movement of the 1960s. They fused their love of the blues with elements of pop, rock, psychedelia, folk and African rhythms, producing an unprecedented blend of superlative songwriting with powerful improvisation.
Now, nearly 60 years after the trio of Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce burst onto the global scene, the kids of one of the most iconic bands of all time are breathing fresh life into the family legacy with their project SONS OF CREAM, and will be on tour playing 25 shows across the UK and USA this Summer.
Celebrating the legendary music of their fathers, Ginger’s son Kofi Baker and Jack’s son Malcolm Bruce are joined by Ginger's grandnephew Rob Johnson in performing Cream classics as well as select songs from other related bands of the period such as Blind Faith, Ginger and Eric's band with Steve Winwood and Ric Gretch. Quite simply, it’s a not to be missed concert of blistering Blues Rock performed by the true inheritors of this unique and unparalleled tradition.
But this isn’t your typical tribute act that plays the music exactly as it was performed before. Kofi and Malcolm have inherited a unique and multidimensional pedigree. It is purely second nature for them to dive inside the music, bringing it alive, like a living organism, constantly morphing into something new. This to them is what the essence of this music contains. And although they have some pretty significant shoes to fill, through some kind of genetic imprint, and intuitive sense, as well as years of performing alongside their fathers themselves, they have arrived at the true heart of what Cream’s music stands for and are truly making it their own.
Together they are bringing to light the spirit and energy and audacity of the music of their fathers.

To say that Charlie Wilson is an “Icon,” does not truly describe the musical powerhouse whose vocal&nbsp; prowess began as founding member and lead singer of the legendary GAP Band (“You Dropped the&nbsp; Bomb on Me,” “Outstanding,” “Party Train,” and “Burn Rubber on Me.”)
As a solo artist Wilson has topped the R&amp;B charts with 13 number one singles, 13 GRAMMY®&nbsp; nominations, a New York Times and Washington Post best-selling memoir, “I Am Charlie Wilson,” a BET Lifetime Achievement Award, a Soul Train Icon Award, a Soul Train Certified Soul Award, a NAACP Music Makes a Difference Award.

With his dynamic dancing and smooth yet gutsy, vocals, Morris Day played an essential role in the development of the Twin City dance/club sound of the 1980s. A founding member of Prince's band, the Time, in 1981, he remained with the group until 1984 when he launched his solo career. Returning for the first time in 1988, he performed and recorded with the Time from 1990 until 1991 and since 1995.
Day's involvement with Prince traces back to 1980 when his composition "Partyup," originally recorded when he was a member of the Enterprise, was covered on Prince's Dirty Mind album. Releasing his debut solo album, Color of Success, in 1985, Day reached his apex with his second solo album, Daydreaming, two years later. Produced by ex-Time members Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam, the album included the chart-topping R&amp;B tune "Fishnet." Day released his third solo album, Guaranteed, in 1992. After Guaranteed, Day toured on-again, off-again without any new product. He finally returned to record store racks in 2004 with It's About Time a mostly live album with a few new studio cuts, one including a guest appearance by rapper E-40. Day has appeared in such films as Prince's autobio-pic, Purple Rain, in 1984, and New Attitude in 1990.

CAKE: the Sacramento, CA based band that continues to maintain a wealth of originality. If Hank Williams Sr. and Sly Stone were having a party together, and they played AC/DC records backwards… that would be this band.
CAKE's adherence to their original guiding principles has only grown stronger over the years. Originally formed as a somewhat antagonistic answer to grunge, CAKE’s democratic processes, defiant self-reliance, and lucid yet ever-inventive music has made them a nation-state unto themselves, with no evident peers in sound or perspective. In addition to writing, arranging, producing, and performing their own music, they have taught themselves to engineer their recording projects in their Sacramento-based solar-powered studio, which regularly generates more power than is needed to run it, causing the building’s electrical meter to run in reverse.
CAKE’s most recent album, Showroom of Compassion, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and was touted as “deadpan brilliance” by The New Yorker Magazine. While seamlessly blending many genres and influences, CAKE truly issues forth a sound and vision unlike any other band. The band is currently at work on their ninth album due for release during autumn 2024. Additionally, there will be a limited edition “Live from Folsom” album issued during summer 2024

Everclear, one of the leading alternative rock bands to emerge from the ‘90s, celebrated their 30th Anniversary in 2022, and founder, vocalist and guitarist Art Alexakis has made it clear that he has no plans to slow down. Since forming in 1992, Everclear has enjoyed a lengthy career by any measure, spanning 11 studio releases, including four that have been certified Gold or Platinum, selling over 6 million records, and achieving 12 Top 40 Hit Singles on Mainstream Rock, Alternative, and Adult Top 40 radio, including “Santa Monica,” “Father of Mine,” “I Will Buy You A New Life,” “Wonderful” and “Everything To Everyone,” as well as numerous videos, thousands of shows, and various other accolades, including a 1998 Grammy nomination.
After the demise of his band Colorfinger in 1992, Alexakis was struggling to make it in Portland, where he’d moved from San Francisco. That extremely difficult personal and creative period was the crucible that forged Alexakis into the fiery songwriter heard on the early Everclear demos, the Nervous &amp; Weird EP (1993), and ultimately the World of Noise LP, both released on the Portland independent label Tim/Kerr Records. The original 1993 release of World of Noise, paired with the band’s significant efforts to break into college radio and the buzz they’d created within the Portland music scene, attracted the attention of major labels, including Capitol Records, which signed the group soon after. Beginning with their major-label debut, 1995’s platinum-selling album Sparkle and Fade, and its massive chart-topping hit “Santa Monica,” Everclear was soon a household name and catapulted into the masses, thus allowing their impressive three-decade career to prosper and endure.&nbsp;&nbsp;
In 2019, while being treated for an injury caused by a minor car accident, Alexakis was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and learned that he had likely been living with the disease for nearly twenty years. Since being diagnosed, Art has donated one dollar from every ticket purchased for his performances to charities such as Sweet Relief Musicians Fund and National MS Society.&nbsp;&nbsp;
In 2022, Everclear reissued World Of Noise as a special 30th Anniversary remastered, deluxe edition, making the album available for the first time on digital streaming platforms with 6 bonus songs in addition to its original 12 tracks. Adding to the celebrations that year, Everclear released a commemorative anniversary video, “Everclear – 30 Years Gone: A Retrospective,” hosted by former MTV VJ, current radio host and longtime friend Matt Pinfield, and embarked on a lengthy North American Tour. One special stop on the tour, back in Alexakis’ hometown of Los Angeles, was recorded and filmed for a new live album. Live at The Whisky a Go Go, set for release September 8, 2023 via Sunset Blvd. Records, features all the hits and hidden treasures from throughout Everclear’s extraordinary catalog as well as two new original bonus studio tracks.
 In addition to his thousands of Everclear performances over the band’s lengthy career, Alexakis created and runs the annual Summerland Tour, which features a package of popular ‘90s alt rock bands, and he released his first solo album, Sun Songs, in 2019. More than three decades later, Everclear’s enduring legacy and ongoing appeal as a live band continues.
